Notification of Proposal to Make Ordinary Rules
In accordance with section 34(1)(a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of his intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules:
Part 121—Large Aeroplanes – Subparts H, I and J
Training and competency requirements
The purpose of this rule-making proposal is to review and update the requirements in:
(a) Subpart H regarding crew member requirements;
(b) Subpart I regarding training and training programmes for crew members;
(c) Subpart J regarding crew member competency programmes and assessments.

Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006
Notice of Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2011)

The Board of Drug Free Sport New Zealand has made the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2011) (“2011 Rules”) under section 16 of the Sports Anti-Doping Act 2006. The 2011 Rules amend the Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2010) and incorporate revised World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards.

The 2011 Rules incorporate by reference the following World Anti-Doping Agency International Standards:
(a) World Anti-Doping Agency The 2011 Prohibited List International Standard;
(b) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions, effective 1 January 2011;
(c) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Testing, effective 1 January 2009;
(d) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for Laboratories, effective 1 January 2009; and
(e) World Anti-Doping Agency International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information, effective 1 June 2009.
