5. Conditions of Group Standard

The conditions in Schedules 1 and 2 are imposed on the substances and, unless otherwise specified, apply to any person who imports, manufactures, possesses, or disposes of the substance.

Notice of Intention to Apply for Approval of Code of Practice

Pursuant to section 79 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority (ERMA) gives notice that The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association of NZ Inc intends to apply for approval of the Code of Practice for LPG Cylinder Storage Compliance 100 – 300 kg.

This code has been developed by The Liquefied Petroleum Gas Association of NZ Inc and sets out a means of compliance with the requirements of Regulation 81 of the Hazardous Substances (Classes 1–5) Regulations 2001.

Written submissions in relation to the approval of these codes can be made by mail or email to

Industry Training Act 1992

Notice of Skills Active Industry Training Organisation

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, full recognition for the Skills Active Industry Training Organisation has been granted for a further period of five years, with effect from 20 June 2009 to 26 June 2014, to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the sports, fitness and recreation industry including the planning, management, promotion and delivery of sport, fitness, community recreation, outdoor recreation, diving (excluding aquaculture) and snowsport industries.

Notice of Provisional Recognition for Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation Limited (Careerforce)

Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for the Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation Limited (Careerforce) as the industry training organisation for health, disability, and community support has been granted for a further period of six months, with effect from 20 September 2010 to 19 March 2011, to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the sectors of aged care, addiction, allied health, core health, dental support, intellectual, physical and sensory disability, health care orderlies, health support, mental health, primary and secondary health care, public health and whānau ora, except where the workforce is covered by the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003.

Ambulance, first aid, injury prevention, pre-hospital emergency care, occupational health and safety, pharmacy.
