Notice Under the Financial Advisers Act 2008

Pursuant to section 147A(1)(a) of the Financial Advisers Act 2008, notice is given of the approval of standard conditions for incorporation in authorisations of financial advisers (under section 55 of the Financial Advisers Act 2008).

The standard conditions can be downloaded from the Securities Commission website at
www.seccom.govt.nz/publications/documents/afaconditions/

Printed copies are also available from the Securities Commission at Level 8, 56 The Terrace, Wellington.

The standard conditions are incorporated into all grants of authorisation of financial advisers from 1 December 2010.

Tertiary Education Commission

Industry Training Act 1992

Notice of the Boating Industries Association of New Zealand Incorporated (Trading as the NZ Marine Industry Training Organisation)

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the Boating Industries Association of New Zealand Incorporated (trading as the NZ Marine Industry Training Organisation) is granted full recognition to set standards at Levels 1 to 10 on the National Qualifications Framework for a further period of five years, with effect from 1 May 2010 to 1 May 2015, for the design, building and manufacturing of yachts and boats from small dinghies to ocean-going motor and sail yachts up to an overall length of 120 metres (400 feet), marine oriented supporting activities such as the buying and selling of craft, maintenance and servicing of these vessels (excluding power boat servicing), the distribution and retailing of marine products and services, marina operations, and the manufacturing of composites products (excluding aeronautical composites, which are covered by the Aviation, Tourism and Travel Training Organisation).

Notice of the REINZ Industry Training Organisation Limited (Trading as the Real Industry Training Organisation)

Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition for the REINZ Industry Training Organisation Limited (trading as the Real Industry Training Organisation) has been granted for a period of 18 months, with effect from 24 June 2009 to 31 December 2010, to set standards at Levels 1–8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the real estate industry; being the appraisal, sale and purchase, letting and leasing, property management of commercial/industrial, residential and rural properties, and businesses; and body corporate services for commercial/industrial, residential and rural properties and businesses.

Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Act 2000

Inclusion of Public Land in the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park

Under the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park Act 2000, the Auckland Conservator for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation declares the land described in the Schedule to be included in the Hauraki Gulf Marine Park.
