Declaring Land as Reserve—North Shore City

Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the North Shore City Council hereby gives notice that it resolved on 10 September 2009 that the land described in the Schedules shall be declared to be reserve under the Reserves Act 1977 and shall be classified as follows:

(a) The land in the First Schedule shall be held as recreation reserve for the purposes specified in section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977.

(b) The land in the Second Schedule shall be held as scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(b) of the Reserves Act 1977.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notices described subsequently, the Acting Conservation Support Manager revokes the notice headed Change of Classification of Reserves dated the 1st day of October 2010 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 7 October 2010, No. 138, page 3492, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Change of Classification of Reserves

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby changes the classification of the reserves described in the Schedule from recreation reserves to scenic reserves for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(b) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act.
