Notice of Vacancy in Seat in House of Representatives

Pursuant to section 129(1) of the Electoral Act 1993,
I, Alexander Lockwood Smith, Speaker of the House of Representatives, give notice that Winifred Alexandra Laban has resigned her seat in the House of Representatives for the Mana Electoral District effective 12.00 midnight on Friday 15 October 2010, and that the seat is vacant by reason of that resignation.

Dated at Orewa this 16th day of October 2010.
