The sum of $12,895.00 has been paid to Public Trust to hold in the name of the deregistered company.

A claim has been lodged by the shareholders of LANDMARK TRAVEL LIMITED.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less associated costs, to LANDMARK TRAVEL LIMITED, subject to no notice of a claim being received on or prior to 1 November 2010.

Any persons having any interest in priority to the claimant must submit a claim to Public Trust, PO Box 13245, Tauranga Central, Tauranga 3141 (Attention: Ken Southam) on or prior to the above-mentioned date.

Note: This is the first and only notice of this claim.

Notice of Application to Register a Trade Name Product (Notice No. 227)

Maree Zinzley, Senior Manager (Approval Operations) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry (“MAF”) (New Zealand Food Safety), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MAF, gives notice, under section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“the Act”), that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:

Trade Name: Renalzin Palatable Oral Suspension for Cats
Reference: A010585
Active Ingredients and Concentrations:
Each mL contains:

  • Lanthanum Carbonate Octahydrate 200mg
  • Tocopherol Acetate (vitamin E) 2mg
    Formulation Type: Aqueous solution or suspension
    General Use Claim: Phosphate binder for cats with chronic renal disease.

Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application.

Under sections 16 and 17 of the Act, a written submission:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and
(b) may state any decision sought on that application; and
(c) must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Under section 18 of the Act, a copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.

Notice of Removal of Trade Name Products From the Register (Notice No. 229)

Maree Zinzley, Senior Manager (Approvals Operations), ACVM Group, Ministry of Agriculture & Forestry (MAF) (New Zealand Food Safety), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MAF, gives notice under section 22(3)(b) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“the Act”) that the following trade name products are removed from the Register of trade name products (section 24 of the Act):

Notice Under the Food Act 1981 (Notice No. 228)

Pursuant to section 11G of the Food Act 1981, notice is given of the issue on 25 September 2010 of the New Zealand (Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code) Food Standards 2002, Amendment No. 32, which comes into force on 4 November 2010.

A copy of the notice may be inspected or obtained at the office of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority, South Tower, 68 Jervois Quay (PO Box 2835), Wellington.
