Land for Road and Easement—Dobson Street, Ashburton, Ashburton District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be set apart as road and shall vest in the Ashburton District Council excluding mineral interest where reserved by section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, section 6 of the Mining Act 1971 and section 5 of the Coal Mines Act 1979;

(b) Pursuant to sections 20 and 28, further declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into over the land described in Second Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for an easement right of way in gross, on the terms and conditions as set out in Schedule 4 to the Land Transfer Regulations 2002, and shall vest in the Ashburton District Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of the Classification of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, and acting pursuant to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Conservation Support Manager for the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby changes the classification of the reserve described in the Schedule from a local purpose (site for a public hall) reserve to a recreation reserve and further declares that the reserve shall form part of the York Road Domain Recreation Reserve subject to the provisions of the Act.
