(d) If approval is not granted, MFish shall notify the applicant in writing giving
reasons for its decision. The applicant should contact MFish if they want to query
the declined approval.

  1. Cancellation of approvalβ€”The Electronic Software approval shall no longer apply if
    it is cancelled by the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries. If the Electronic
    Software approval is cancelled:

(a) The software provider shall be notified by MFish of the details of the
cancellation; and

(b) MFish shall notify the cancellation in the New Zealand Gazette.
