Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988
Termination of a New Shipper Reassessment: Diaries From China Exported by Tung Shing & Office Supplies Ltd
Notice is hereby given that I have terminated a reassessment of the rate or amount of anti-dumping duty, in respect of
"diaries with or without covers, excluding: diaries with steel ring binders; and wallplanners"
exported from the People’s Republic of China by Tung Shing & Office Supplies Ltd, which was initiated pursuant to section 14(6) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988.
Notification of the initiation of the reassessment was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 17 December 2009, No. 188, page 4506.
I am satisfied that no evidence has been provided that would enable a new rate or amount of anti-dumping duty to be determined for the said exporter which would justify continuing with the reassessment investigation. The level of anti-dumping duty for the said exporter will therefore remain at the residual rate of 53 per cent of the Customs’ value for duty.
Dated at Wellington this 31st day of August 2010.
