Maree Zinzley, Senior Manager (Approval Operations) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry ("MAF") (New Zealand Food Safety), acting under delegated authority from the Director-General of MAF, gives notice, under section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 ("the Act"), that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:

Active Ingredients and Concentrations:
Contains 3g Levamisole HCl and 80mg Ivermectin and 1.72g of continuous slow release of Ivermectin

Formulation Type: Capsule

General Use Claim:
For the treatment and long term control of internal parasites, lungworm, lice and mites. For the promotion of growth and productivity through the control of gastrointestinal parasites. Reduces pasture contamination with worm eggs for approximately 125 days.

Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application.

Under sections 16 and 17 of the Act, a written submission:

(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and

(b) may state any decision sought on that application; and

(c) must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Under section 18 of the Act, a copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.

Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008

Approval of Approved Dispute Resolution Scheme

Following consideration of an application made under section 51 of the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008 ("the Act"), and after consultation with the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Commerce, I give notice that I have granted approval, under section 53 of the Act, to the dispute resolution scheme called the Banking Ombudsman Scheme established under the documents entitled Constitution Relating to Banking Ombudsman Scheme Limited, Participation Agreement Relating to Banking Ombudsman Scheme Limited and the Banking Ombudsman Terms of Reference.

The Banking Ombudsman Scheme has the purpose of providing a free service to customers of participating banks in order to help those customers resolve disputes with participating banks.
