Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Whanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule, being part of the land described in Computer Freehold Register WN47C/396, with effect that the reserve may be sold by the Palmerston North City Council on such terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from any sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of whānau, hapū and iwi.
