TARIFF (STATISTICAL REQUIREMENTS)
AMENDMENT NOTICE (No. 1) 2010

PURSUANT to Section 10 (2) of the Tariff Act 1988, and acting under delegated authority from the Minister of Commerce, the Deputy Secretary, Competition, Trade and Investment Branch of the Ministry of Economic Development gives the following Notice.

NOTICE

Title – This Notice is the Tariff (Statistical Requirements) Amendment Notice (No. 1) 2010.
Commencement – This Notice comes into force on 1 October 2010.
Statistical keys of certain Tariff items amended – The Tariff is hereby amended by revoking the statistical keys of Tariff items 2103.90.00 and 7008.00.00 and substituting the statistical keys specified in the First Schedule to this Notice.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Notice amends the statistical key codes, units and descriptions of the Tariff items specified in this Notice. The amendment to 2103.90.00 has been made to cater for goods that contain peanut at any compositional level. The amendment to 7008.00.00 has been made at the behest of Industry.
