From where the Motueka West Bank Road meets the Motueka River, one kilometre south of Brooklyn, west to Hailes Knob. Then north-west to Parapara Peak in Golden Bay, then south-west to Mt Olympus, then west to Mt Perry, then north-west to Percy Peak. Then along the high points of the Wakamarama Range to Mt Stevens, to Mt Higgins, to Mt Haidinger in the Burnett Range, to Mt Burnett. Then south to the bridge over Gorge Creek on the Collingwood–Puponga Main Road, then downstream along the left bank of Gorge Creek to Ruataniwha Inlet on the Golden Bay coast, and then along the coastline around Farewell Spit to Three Mile Lagoon on the Tasman Sea. Then in a direct line east to the western side of Lake Wahapo where it gives rise to the Okarito River, then in a direct line south-east to Mt Loughnan on the Main Divide. Then up the Main Divide to Mt Barron, then along the high points west to Mt Novaro and on to Mt Hochstetter and the Nancy–Tass Saddle. Then north-west to Mt Rameses and on to Mt Harata. Then north-east to Mt Gore, then south-east to Mt Puttick, then north-east to Mt Haast. Then east to the Rahu Saddle on the Reefton–Springs Junction highway. Then north to Creighton Peak in the Victoria Range and on to Mt Victoria. Then north and north-east along the high points to Mt Pelion, Mt Wynn, Mt Curtis to Boundary Peak. Then north-east along the high points to the junction of Little Deepdale Creek and the Buller River. Then upstream of the Buller River to the junction of the Buller and Hope rivers at Kawatiri Junction. Then north-east to the Hope Saddle. Then north-east and north along the high points of the Pinchback Range to the beaconed Trig Kohatu (643m) then in a direct line north-east to the Motueka River, two kilometres south of Tapawera. Then down the true left bank of the Motueka River to where the Motueka West Bank Road meets the Motueka River, one kilometre south of Brooklyn.
Marlborough/North Canterbury
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From where the Canterbury Regional Council and Marlborough District Council boundaries meet on the east coast at Willawa Point, along the Canterbury Regional Council/Marlborough District Council boundary to Sleepy Peak. Then west to Black Mount, then west to Mt Munro then north-west down the spur between the Isis and McRae rivers to the Awatere River. Down the true left bank of the Awatere River to the junction with the Penk River, then up the true right bank of the Penk River to Penk Hut. Then north-east to Mt Horrible, north to The Throne, then south-west to Doctors Knob. Then west to Jack, then north-west to Devils Backbone, then south-west to Haycock, then south-west to Bounds. Then north-west to Mt Impy, then north to Mt Noble, then north-east to the Wye River–Breezer Stream junction. Then down the true left bank of the Wye River to the Wairau River. Then down the true right bank of the Wairau River to a point directly opposite the Enchanted Stream road bridge, then north-west to Old Man, west to Mt Rintoul, Purple Top, Bishops Cap, then south along the high points to Bushy Top, then south-west along the high points to Red Hill, then south along the high points to Chrome, then south-west to Beebys Knob. Then south along the high points to the St Arnaud Range, Mt McRae, Peanter Peak, The Camel, Coterrell Peak, to Rainbow Pass, then south to Mt McKay, Belvedere Peak, Waiau Pass, to Mt Mahanga in the Spenser Mountains. Then south along the high points to Mt Una, then south-east to the junction of Glacier Gully and the Waiau River. Then down the Waiau River to its junction with the Henry River, then up the Henry River to the Opera Range then south down the Opera Range to the Organ Range east of Glynn Wye, then south to the Hurunui River east of Esk Head, then south-west to the Puketeraki Range, then south along the high points of the Puketeraki Range to Ashley Head. Then south-east to Mt Gordon and the headwaters of Punanui Stream. Down the true left bank of the Punanui Stream to the junction with the Okuku River, then down the true left bank of the Okuku River to where it crosses the Okuku Pass Road. Then north-east along Okuku Pass Road to where it meets the Waipara River South Branch at The Brothers. Then down the true left bank of the Waipara River South Branch to its junction with the Waipara River, then down the true left bank of the Waipara River to the river mouth on the east coast. Then up the coastline to where the Canterbury Regional Council and Marlborough District Council boundaries meet on the east coast at Willawa Point.
North Aviemore
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From the Lake Waitaki Dam in a line along the main Kirkliston Range to Mt Milne, then Mt Kirkliston and then to peak 1755m at Grid Reference NZMG x2314188, y5633550, then west along the ridge to peak 1916m, Mt Sutton at Grid Reference NZMG x2303737, y5632114, continuing west to peak 1581m at Grid Reference NZMG x2297096, y5633411, down across the Black Forest Stream and then up to peak 1132m at Grid Reference NZMG x2290865, y5633060. Then west to Lake Benmore. Then south along the eastern shore of Lake Benmore to the Waitaki River, down the true left bank of the Waitaki River to Lake Aviemore. Then east along the north-eastern shore of Lake Aviemore and Lake Waitaki to the Lake Waitaki Dam.
Coastal and Central Otago
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From the Kurow River/Waitaki River junction, up the Kurow River to Grayson Peak at Grid Reference NZMG x2300459, y5587588, then in a direct line south-east to Danseys Pass at Grid Reference NZMG x2302676, y5580569, then in a direct line south-east to Kakanui Peak at Grid Reference NZMG x2308552, y5560630, then in a direct line south-east to beaconed Trig B at Grid Reference NZMG x2311701, y5555426, then to Mt Stalker at Grid Reference NZMG x2317496, y5552827, then east to beaconed Trig Y at Grid Reference NZMG x2327471, y5550796, then east to the junction of Glencoe Road and Kennedy Road (near Herbert), then along Glencoe Road to State Highway 1 at Herbert. Then south along State Highway 1 to where State Highway 1 crosses the Waianakarua River (near the junction between Waianakarua Road and State Highway 1), then along the true left bank of the North Branch of the Waianakarua River, then along the left bank of the Waianakarua River to the coast, then down the east coast to where State Highway 1 meets the coast near Shag Point. Then follow State Highway 1 south to Evansdale, then follow State Highway 1 to Pigeon Flat and the junction with Leith Valley Road. Follow Leith Valley Road to the junction with Islay Street. Then follow Islay Street, Fulton Road and Tanner Road to Wakari Road. Follow Wakari Road to Taieri Road. Follow Taieri Road then Three Mile Hill Road to the junction with Dalziel Road. Follow Dalziel Road, then Abbott’s Hill Road, then follow North Taieri Road and Abbotsford Road to the outskirts of Green Island (township), then follow Kaikorai Stream to the coast. Then south along the coast to the mouth of the Matau Branch of the Clutha River and then up the true left bank of the Clutha River to a point nearest the intersection.
