Hazardous Substances (Endosulfan Further Direction Prohibiting Use and Storage Disposal Control) Notice 2009
Pursuant to section 66 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("the Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority issues the following notice.
Notice

Title—This notice is the Hazardous Substances (Endosulfan Further Direction Prohibiting Use and Storage Disposal Control) Notice 2009.

Commencement—This notice comes into effect the day after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Purpose—(1) The purpose of this notice is to amend the meaning of endosulfan in the Hazardous Substances (Endosulfan Direction Prohibiting Use and Storage Disposal Control) Notice 2008*.
(2) In the Hazardous Substances (Endosulfan Direction Prohibiting Use and Storage Disposal Control) Notice 2008 Endosulfan means:
endosulfan (former Approval Number HSR002846);
emulsifiable concentrate containing 350g/litre endosulfan (Substance A) (former Approval Number HSR000679);
emulsifiable concentrate containing 350g/litre endosulfan (Substance B) (former Approval Number HSR000678);
emulsifiable concentrate containing 350g/litre endosulfan (Substance C) (former Approval Number HSR000487);
and
emulsifiable concentrate containing 350g/litre endosulfan (Substance D) (former Approval Number HSR000677).

Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2005/7*
Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways
Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989 and Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the New Zealand Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.
Amendments

Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2009/2A and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amendment—The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
(a) Replacing line 114 in Schedule 3 to read:

Distance from nearest Road/Feature: From 180m north of the Te Kowhai Road intersection to the Crawford Road roundabout.
Speed Restriction (km/h): 80
