Crown Entities Act 2004
Appointments/reappointments of Members to the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Board
Pursuant to clause 28(3)(a) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, the Minister for Economic Development and the Minister of Trade have been pleased to appoint to the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise Board:
Peter Ramsay Townsend, of Christchurch
Charles Holmes Finny, of Wellington
Julie Claire Molloy Christie, of Auckland
as members appointed for three years; and to reappoint
Craig Raniera Ellison, of Wellington
as an existing board member for two years; and to reappoint
Lorraine Mary Witten, of Wellington
as an existing board member for eighteen months.
All appointments took effect from 14 May 2009.

The Education (2010 Fee and Course Costs Maxima) Notice 2009
Under sections 159L(3)(d) and 159M(b) of the Education Act 1989, the Minister for Tertiary Education gives notice of the proposed conditions setting limits on maximum fees that tertiary education organisations may charge domestic students in 2010.

Title—This notice may be cited as the Education (2010 Fee and Course Costs Maxima) Notice 2009.

Commencement—The proposed conditions outlined in this notice apply for the 2010 academic year only.

Proposal—I propose:
(a) to specify the conditions setting maximum limits on certain fees and course costs (“fee and course costs maxima”), as set out in Schedule 1 below, that tertiary education organisations may charge domestic students in certificate, diploma and degree-level courses that receive student achievement component funding in 2010; and
(b) to specify the other conditions in relation to the fee and course costs maxima policy, as set out in Schedule 2 below, that the Tertiary Education Commission must attach to student achievement component funding in 2010. -
Call for submissions—Any tertiary education organisation and any other person, body or organisation having an interest in the matter is invited to make a submission on the proposed fee and course costs maxima and other proposed conditions set out in this notice.
