Land Acquired for Use in Connection With a Road

—Puriri Road, Waikanae

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for use in connection with a road and shall vest in the Kapiti Coast District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway 2, Maramarua, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown and which has the effect of adding the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to State Highway 2, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice is to be stopped, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 55864, subject to mortgage 5241358.2, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
