Pursuant to the Marriage Act 1955, the Registrar-General of Marriages hereby gives notice as follows.

  1. This notice may be cited as the Marriage (Approval of Organisations) Notice No. 6.
  2. The organisation specified in the Schedule hereto is declared to be an approved organisation for the purpose of the Marriage Act 1955.

Acting Community Magistrate Appointed

Pursuant to section 11H of the District Courts Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General of New Zealand has been pleased to appoint

Garry Oversen Moltzen, retired Community Magistrate of Hamilton, to be an Acting Community Magistrate, to carry out such functions and powers as are conferred on Community Magistrates, in such Courts at such times as the Chief District Court Judge may from time to time direct, under section 11C of the District Courts Act 1947, for a term of 12 months on and from 2 February 2009.
