Notification of General Directions
In accordance with section 27G(1) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the Director of Civil Aviation signed the following General Directions on 9 January 2009, which will come into force on 1 March 2009:
- Civil Aviation (Examination Procedures) General Directions Notice 2009
- Civil Aviation (Timetable for Routine Examinations) General Directions Notice 2009
These General Directions are available for inspection at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, 10 Hutt Road, Petone. Postal Address: PO Box 31441, Lower Hutt 5040.

Electricity Governance Regulations 2003
Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 79 (Energy Online Limited)) Exemption Amendment Notice 2009
Pursuant to Regulation 196 of the Electricity Governance Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission gives the following notice.
Notice
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 79 (Energy Online Limited)) Exemption Amendment Notice 2009.
(2) In this notice, the Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 79 (Energy Online Limited)) Exemption Notice 2008* is called the “principal notice”.
(3) This notice comes into force on the day after the date in which it is notified in the New Zealand Gazette.
- Amendment to principal notice—(1) The principal notice provides an exemption from the requirement in Rule 2.4.3 of Part H of the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”) that a third party guarantor maintains an acceptable credit rating as defined in Rule 2.5 of Part H of the Rules.
(2) The principal notice is amended by omitting clause 5(2) and substituting:
“(2) This exemption expires at the close of 31 May 2009.”
- Reason for amendment—The reason for this amendment is to allow sufficient time to complete the review of relevant rules within Part H of the Rules.
