Reserves Act 1977

Classification of Reserve, Revocation of the Appointment of a Board, and Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Tongariro-Taupo Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a local purpose (public hall site) reserve and, further, revokes the appointment of the Owhango Public Hall Board as published in New Zealand Gazette, 9 November 1967, No. 70, page 1930) and appoints the Ruapehu District Council to control and manage the reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act, as a local purpose (public hall site) reserve.

Revocation of the Appointment of a Board, and Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Tongariro-Taupo Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the appointment of the Owhango Reserves Board (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 June 1912, No. 52, page 1915) and appoints the Ruapehu District Council to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule, subject to the provisions of the Act, as a recreation reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose (access way) reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Tauranga City Council on such terms and conditions as the council determines.
