Removal From and Appointment To the Otago District Health Board

Pursuant to clause 13(1) of Schedule 3 to the New Zealand Public Health and Disability Act 2000 (“the Act”), I hereby remove

Richard John Thomson

from office as chairperson of the board of the Otago District Health Board.

This decision is made having consulted with Richard John Thomson and the board of the Otago District Health Board and having fully considered submissions received.

This decision takes effect on 17 February 2009.

Pursuant to clause 10(1) of Schedule 3 to the Act, I hereby appoint

Leonard Errol Millar

as chairperson of the board of the Otago District Health Board.

This appointment takes effect on 17 February 2009 and will end on 5 December 2010.
