Approval of Code of Ethical Conduct

I hereby give notice that, pursuant to section 91 of the Animal Welfare Act 1999, I have approved, for the period 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2014, the code of ethical conduct submitted to me by Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology.

Building Act 2004

Notice Stating Where Copies of the Statement of Proposal to Amend Compliance Documents B1, B2, C, E1 and G9-G15 are Available, and Where Materials Proposed to be Incorporated by Reference

Pursuant to sections 24(1) and 29 of the Building Act 2004 (“the Act”), I give notice that the following compliance documents for the New Zealand Building Code are proposed to be amended:

  • B1 – Structure
  • B2 – Durability
  • C – Fire Safety
  • E1 – Surface Water
  • G9 – Electricity
  • G10 – Piped Services
  • G11 – Gas as an Energy Source
  • G12 – Water Supplies
  • G13 – Foul Water
  • G14 – Industrial Liquid Waste
  • G15 – Solid Waste

The statement of proposals for the proposed amendments for each of these compliance documents can be downloaded free of charge from the Department of Building and Housing (“the Department”) website www.dbh.govt.nz

The statements of proposals are also available from the national office of the Department at Level 6, 86 Customhouse Quay, Wellington, between the hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
