Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule below is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Declaring the Disposition of Land to be Exempt From Section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987

Under section 24B(4)(b) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Associate Minister of Conservation declares that the marginal strip requirements, set out in section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, shall not apply to the disposition to Mighty River Power Limited of the land specified in the Schedule, which is required in connection with electricity works as the site of the Arapuni Power Station.
