Customs and Excise Act 1996

Notification of Designation of Customs Airport

I, Philip Alan Powell Chitty, Group Manager Airports, acting pursuant to section 9(1) of the Customs and Excise Act 1996, hereby designate as a Customs airport the airport operated by Rotorua International Airport Limited.

I hereby further impose the following conditions and restrictions:

(a) That the arrival and departure of aircraft at this airport shall be limited to scheduled international passenger services only, to the exclusion of air freight operations.

(b) That Rotorua International Airport Limited must obtain Customs’ prior approval for any non-scheduled international arrivals at or departures from Rotorua Airport, and give at least three working days’ notice in seeking such approvals.

Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988

Reassessment of Anti-Dumping Duty: Galvanised Wire From Malaysia

Pursuant to section 14(6) of the Dumping and Countervailing Duties Act 1988 ("the Act"), the Minister of Commerce, having carried out a reassessment of the anti-dumping duty applying to imports into New Zealand of galvanised wire from Malaysia, following the completion of a review under section 14(8) of the Act, and having determined a new rate of anti-dumping duty applicable to those goods, gives the following notice.

Notice

Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the “Reassessment of Anti-Dumping Duty: Galvanised Wire from Malaysia”.

(2) This notice replaces and supersedes all previous notices in relation to the subject goods described below in the First Schedule.

(3) Pursuant to section 17 of the Act, the reassessed anti-dumping duty, set out in the Second Schedule to this notice, shall apply to imports of the goods specified in the First Schedule with effect from the day after the date of this notice.
