Radiocommunications Regulations (Prohibited Equipment – Dog Tracking Devices) Notice 2009

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(i) of the Radiocommunications Regulations 2001 (“the Regulations”) made under section 134(1)(g) of the Radiocommunications Act 1989, and acting under delegated authority from the chief executive, I give the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Radiocommunications Regulations (Prohibited Equipment – Dog Tracking Devices) Notice 2009.

(2) This notice comes into force on 12 November 2009.

2. Prohibited equipment—The installation, use, sale, distribution or manufacture of interfering equipment, as prescribed in the Schedule to this notice, is prohibited.

Schedule

Radio transmitters known as dog tracking devices operating in the frequencies 151.820 MHz, 151.880 MHz, 151.940 MHz, 154.570 MHz and 154.600 MHz, including, but not limited to, the following makes and models operating within these frequencies:

• Garmin Astro 220 system
• Garmin DC 20 collar
• Garmin DC 30 collar

Explanatory Note

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice prescribes that, pursuant to Regulation-making powers of the Radiocommunications Act 1989, the installation, use, sale, distribution or manufacture of interfering equipment, as prescribed in the notice, is prohibited. This notice comes into effect on 12 November 2009.

Corrigendum—National Administration Guidelines

In the notice with the above heading dated the 14th day of October 2009 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 29 October 2009, No. 157, page 3810, please amend the last paragraph under NAG 2A by replacing

"subclauses ii and iii"

with

"subclauses (b) and (c)".

Te Wharekura o Te Kaokaoroa o Patetere (567) Board of Trustees Election Notice

Acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education under section 101(7) of the Education Act 1989, I approve Friday, 5 March 2010, as the closing date for voting in the first elections of parent representatives and a staff representative for the board of trustees of Te Wharekura o Te Kaokaoroa o Patetere.

I also approve Friday, 12 March 2010, as the date for the first meeting of the board of trustees.

This notice shall take effect the day after publication.

Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 20 May 2008, which was granted under those Regulations to Jane Patterson in respect of Kowhai Rudolph Steiner Kindergarten (10082), situated at 55 Amy Street, Ellerslie, Auckland.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
