Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Declared Road and Road to be Stopped and Set Apart for the Functioning Indirectly of a Road (Segregation Strip)—State Highway 1, Cambridge Bypass, Waipa District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 52, further declares the stopped road to be set apart for the functioning indirectly of a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown.

Road Realignment—State Highway 2, Kaitoke–Te Marua, Upper Hutt City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ross James Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 119, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be taken for severance and further, pursuant to section 119(4), shall be held as stopped Government road, subject to GN 664559, section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
