Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Including the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose (road) reserve over the land described in the Schedule, with effect that the reserve may be sold by the Otorohanga District Council on such terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from the sale to be paid into the general funds of the council.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Notice Redefining the Name of a Māori Reservation

On the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land known as Te Au-O-Waikato 73 2B 2A Block referred to in the Schedule, as set out in the New Zealand Gazette, 28 May 1959, No. 31, page 690, was set aside as a Māori reservation.

Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the name of the said Māori reservation is hereby redefined and shall be known as Rukumoana Marae.

Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Recreation Reserve—Paihia Village Green

In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, the Far North District Council notifies the resolution passed on 26 July 2007:

“That under section 14 of the Act the Far North District Council resolved to declare that piece of land, held in fee simple by the Council and described in the Schedule, be declared to be a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.”
