The amendments include:
- the prescription of the Australian/New Zealand Gaming Machine National Standard Revision 10.0;
- the prescription of the New Zealand Class 4 Gaming Machine Appendix to the Australian/New Zealand Gaming Machine National Standard Revision 10.0 Version 1.0.
These amendments will take effect on 9 October 2009.

Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005
Notice of Payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account
Take notice that, pursuant to Part 2 of the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005, compensation awarded to Brendon Douglas Forrest is required to be paid to the Secretary of Justice, and the surplus after deductions is to be held in trust on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest.
And that on 1 October 2009, $1,000.00 was paid into the victims’ claims trust account on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest.
This money must be held in the trust account to enable any victims of Brendon Douglas Forrest to make claims against it.
Any person that has been a victim of Brendon Douglas Forrest, in respect of an offence for which Brendon Douglas Forrest was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the trust account on behalf of Brendon Douglas Forrest.
Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the trust account.

Orders for Confiscation of Motor Vehicles
Pursuant to sections 128 and 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, orders were made in the Hawera District Court on 1 September 2009, for the confiscation of the following motor vehicles:
- 1989 Nissan Skyline, Registration No. ZZ7641.
Against: Leon Jared Leatherby. - 1993 Nissan Pulsar, Registration No. YY9088.
Against: Valda Elizabeth Hawe.

The Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 has been amended pursuant to section 327 of the Gambling Act 2003.
The amendments include:
- the prescription of the Australian/New Zealand Gaming Machine National Standard Revision 10.0;
- the prescription of the New Zealand Casino Gaming Machine Appendix to the Australian/New Zealand Gaming Machine National Standard Revision 10.0 Version 1.0.
These amendments will take effect on 9 October 2009.
