Industry Training Act 1992

Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

Pursuant to section 8 of the Industry Training Act 1992, provisional recognition has been granted for a period of 12 months commencing on 20 September 2009, to the Community Support Services Industry Training Organisation Incorporated (Careerforce) as the industry training organisation for health, disability, and community support for Levels 1–8 on the National Qualifications Framework to set standards for the sectors of aged care,

3537 addiction, allied health, core health, dental support, intellectual, physical and sensory disability, health care orderlies, health support, mental health, primary and secondary health care, public health and whānau ora, except where the workforce is covered by the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003.

Ambulance, first aid, injury prevention, pre-hospital emergency care, occupational health and safety, pharmacy, social services, State services related public administration and management are excluded from the Careerforce coverage as they lie within the coverage of other standard setting bodies.

Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Whangarei 2009, No. 4.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

  3. The lands described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.
