Notice of Determination Regarding Type of Interest in a Foreign Investment Fund and Use of Fair Dividend Rate Method

1. This is a notice made under section 91AAO(5) of the Tax Administration Act 1994 of a determination made by the Commissioner of Inland Revenue under section 91AAO(1) of that Act.

2. “Determination FDR 2009/3”, where a person may not use the FDR method to calculate FIF income from the attributing interest in the PIMCO Funds: Global Investors Series plc Global Bond Fund, was made on 10 September 2009, and will appear in Inland Revenue’s Tax Information Bulletin, Vol. 21, No. 8, of November 2009.

Local Government (Waimakariri District) Boundary Alteration Notice 2009

Pursuant to clause 5(1) of Schedule 2 of the Local Government Act 2002, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the Local Government (Waimakariri District) Boundary Alteration Notice 2009.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after it is published in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. Boundaries of Waimakariri District—The seaward boundaries of Waimakariri District are extended to the mean low water springs.

3. Application to existing boundaries—Nothing in this notice has the effect of excluding from Waimakariri District any area included in that district before this notice is in force.

4. Wards—The areas included in Waimakariri District by this notice are included in the adjacent ward of Waimakariri District.

5. Communities—Any area included in Waimakariri District by this notice adjacent to the Kaiapoi Community is included in that community.
