Important Notes Relating to Allocation Tables:

  1. Quota licences for the United States, European Communities and Dominican Republic are valid from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010. Quota licences for prepared edible fat to Japan are valid from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011.

  2. Quota licences are subject to the European Union requirements limiting total butter quota volume in the first sub-period of the 2010 calendar year butter quota. No more than 50 per cent of the total quantity for the year may be used in the first sub-period (from 1 January to 30 June). However, any quantity not used in the first sub-period may be used in the second sub-period (1 July to 31 December).

  3. All quantities listed are in kilograms. Some quantities listed have been rounded to the nearest kilogram.

  4. Export licences conferred on New Zealand Dairy Board in 2001 are not included in these tables, but remain valid until the specified expiry dates set out in the Dairy Industry Restructuring Act 2001.

  5. NSPF cheese is cowโ€™s milk cheeses not specified elsewhere in the schedule of United States tariff rate quotas for cheese.
