Road to be Stopped and Set Apart for the Generation of Electricity—State Highway 8, Waitaki District

Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information,
R. J. SUTHERLAND, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares, pursuant to section 52(1), shall be set apart for the generation of electricity and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquisitions—Four Mile Bay, Taupo District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to sections 20 and 50, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for stormwater drainage and vested in the Taupo District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

(b) Pursuant to sections 20 and 50, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for accessway and vested in the Taupo District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

(c) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be road and vested in the Taupo District Council.

(d) Declares the land described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be taken, under section 119, and vested in the Taupo District Council, subject to Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.
