"On 17 December 2008, I, The Honourable Bill English, Minister of Finance, on behalf of the Crown, gave certain indemnities to Taranaki Whanui ki Te Upoko o Te Ika and the Port Nicholson Block Settlement Trust as set in the Deed of Settlement of Historical Claim signed 19 August 2008 and which are to apply from the date of such signing."
