Declaration That Land is Reserve—Part Hamilton Gardens, Hamilton City
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Hamilton City Council hereby gives notice that the following resolution was passed by the Hamilton City Council on 9 April 2008:
“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Hamilton City Council resolves that the parcel of land held by Council in fee simple and described in the Schedule, shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be, recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act”.

Revocation of the Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve and Appointment of the Kau Fakana’Ana’A ’I Fale Lalava Komiuniti Incorporated to Control and Manage a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the appointment of the Auckland Playcentres Association Incorporated to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule, and appoints the Kau Fakana’Ana’A ’I Fale Lalava Komiuniti Incorporated to control and manage the said reserve, subject to the terms and conditions set down in a control and management agreement dated the 5th day of May 2008.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a historic reserve and declares that the reserve be known as the Victoria Battery Historic Reserve.
