Amendment to the Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004

Pursuant to section 327 of the Gambling Act 2003, the Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 has been amended.

The amendment incorporates into the minimum standard rules for new table games called:

● Ultimate Texas Hold’em
● Three Card Poker
● Electronic Money Wheel
● Casino War

The amendment also incorporates into the minimum standard amendments to the rules of:

● Baccarat
● Tai Sai

These amendments to the minimum standard will take effect on 25 April 2008.

Copies of the amendment to the Gambling Act (Casino Gambling Equipment) Minimum Standard 2004 may be obtained from the Department of Internal Affairs website www.dia.govt.nz
