(b) That the Bay of Plenty Regional Council recognises local iwi have historical and cultural interests in the reserve and will consult with local iwi on all matters relating to the management of the reserve.

(c) That council will manage the reserve for the purposes for which it is classified, and in particular, ensure that the public continue to have access to the reserve for recreational and heritage purposes.
