Biosecurity Act 1993

Approval of New Zealand Refining Company Limited Marsden Point Cargo Terminal as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. 1623)

Pursuant to section 37 of the Bioseurity Act 1993, notice is given that

New Zealand Refining Company Limited Marsden Point Cargo Terminal

was approved on 5 March 2008, as a place of first arrival into New Zealand.

This approval is restricted to arrivals of vessels for the following purposes:

  • Crude oil tankers
  • Refined product tankers for discharging and loading
  • Other commercial vessels for the purposes of bunkering (refuelling).

This approval does not authorise the arrival of vessels carrying general cargo (including live animals, fresh produce and vehicles).

The written notice of approval may be inspected free of charge, during business hours, at the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington.

Approval of NorthPort Limited Marsden Point Cargo Terminal as a Place of First Arrival (Notice No. 1624)

Pursuant to section 37 of the Biosecurity Act 1993, notice is given that

NorthPort Limited Marsden Point Cargo Terminal

was approved on 5 March 2008, as a place of first arrival into New Zealand.

This approval is restricted to arrivals of vessels for the following purposes:

  • Bulk cargo vessels
  • Container/general cargo vessels
  • Heavy lift vessels
  • Other commercial vessels
  • Cruise ships
  • Yachts.

The written notice of approval may be inspected free of charge, during business hours, at the head office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Pastoral House, 25 The Terrace, Wellington.

Fisheries (Conversion Factors) Amendment Notice 2005 (No. 438)

In the notice dated the 31st day of October 2005 and published in the Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 4 November 2005, No. 184, page 4617, Part 1 of Schedule 2 of the principal notice is amended by omitting from the column headed "Dressed", in respect of the item relating to barracouta (BAR), the expression

"1.55"

and substituting the expression

"1.50";

and Part 2 of Schedule 2 is amended by omitting from 16 the expression

"1.60"

and substituting the expression

"1.65".
