Notice of Termination by Public Trust to Manage Property

Pursuant to section 107 of the Public Trust Act 2001, Public Trust hereby gives notice that:

(a) Susan Jane Millan, farmer, late of Frankton, was the owner of the property described in the Schedule hereto.

(b) By Order of the High Court of New Zealand dated the 13th day of November 2003, Public Trust was appointed manager of the property of Susan Jane Millan.

(c) Public Trust has ceased to be manager of the property.

Schedule

An estate in fee simple containing 28.1686 hectares, Sections 143–145 and 152 Block 1 Shotover Survey District certificate of title, Volume 71, folio 248 (Otago Registry).

Telecommunications Act 2001

Telecommunications (Operational Separation) Amendment Determination 2007

On 24 December 2007, the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, pursuant to section 69G(1) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), made an amendment to the Telecommunications (Operational Separation) Determination 2007, dated the 26th day of September 2007* under sections 69F and 69G of the Act, by notice in writing to Telecom (“amending determination”).

The amending determination amends the requirements with which Telecom’s separation plan must comply, in addition to those set out in Part 2A of the Act.

It addresses a number of matters designed to improve the workability of the operational separation regime, corrects some minor errors, and modifies the requirements in respect of wholesale staff incentives and IP interconnection.

A public copy of the amending determination:

(i) is available for inspection, free of charge, at the head office of the Ministry of Economic Development at 33 Bowen Street, Wellington (during ordinary office hours); and

(ii) is available for inspection and download, free of charge, on the Ministry of Economic Development website at

www.med.govt.nz

in an electronic form that is publicly accessible; and

(iii) is available for purchase at a reasonable cost from all outlets that carry the Statutory Regulation series (SR 2008/3).

Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002

Declaration of State of Local Emergency

Pursuant to section 68 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Meng Foon, hereby declare that a state of local emergency exists in the Gisborne City Ward.

The state of civil defence emergency shall come into force on the date of this declaration.

This state of local emergency expires at 1.00am on 28 December 2007 or with the commencement of the 7th day after the date on which this declaration was declared, whichever is the earliest.

Declaration Terminating State of Local Emergency

Pursuant to section 72 of the Civil Defence Emergency Management Act 2002, I, Meng Foon, hereby terminate the state of local emergency made for the Gisborne City Ward on 21 December 2007 at 1.00am.

The termination of the state of civil defence emergency shall take effect from 22 December 2007 at 5.12pm.
