Classification and Naming of Reserves, and Declaration That Land is a Reserve

The Whangarei District Council notifies the following resolutions were passed on 12 December 2007:

(a) "Pursuant to Section 16 of the Reserves Act 1977 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation the Whangarei District Council hereby classifies the reserves described in the First Schedule as scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(b) of the Act, and further declares pursuant to section 16(10) of the Act that each reserve shall hereafter be known as named at the end of description of each of the said reserves."

(b) "Pursuant to Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977 and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Act, the Council hereby declares that the land held in fee simple by Council and described in the Second Schedule is declared to be local purpose (water supply) reserve, and further declares pursuant to section 16(10) of the Act and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation that each reserve shall hereafter be known as Whau Valley Water Supply Reserve."

(c) "Pursuant to Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977 and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Act, the Council hereby declares that the land held in fee simple by Council and described in the Third Schedule is declared to be Scenic Reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(b) of the Act and further declares pursuant to Section 16(10) of the Act and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation that each reserve shall hereafter be known as named at the end of the description of each of the said reserves."

(d) "Pursuant to Section 16(10) of the Reserves Act 1977 and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation the Council hereby declares that the reserves described in the Fourth Schedule shall hereafter be known as named at the end of the description of each of the said reserves."
