Land Acquired for Road and Road to be Stopped—Ashpit Road, Rotorua District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information New Zealand,
R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 17(1), declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the portions of land described in the First Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Rotorua District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
(b) Pursuant to sections 116(1), 117(3) and 120(3), declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register SA58B/318.

Reserves Act 1977
Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Tongariro-Taupo Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the Ruapehu District Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
