Telecommunications Act 2001

Notification of the Commerce Commission’s Draft Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for the Local Residential Telephone Service for the Period Between 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2008

On 8 December 2008, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) released its Draft Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for Local Residential Service (“TSO Instrument”) for the period between 1 July 2007 and 30 June 2008.

The Commission, acting pursuant to section 92(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), prepared the draft determination in respect of the matters set out in section 93A of the Act for the TSO Instrument.

Pursuant to section 92(b) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its draft determination.

Notification of Revocation of the Code for Co-location of Radiocommunications Services Under the Telecommunications Act 2001

On 17 December 2008, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”), pursuant to clause 12(3) of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), revoked the approved Code for Co-location of Radiocommunications Services Regulated under the Act (“the Co-location Code”).

Pursuant to clause 16 of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Act, the Commission gives public notice of revocation of the Co-location Code.
