20 NOVEMBER 2008 NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE, No. 177 4625
(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown;
(c) Pursuant to section 119, declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be taken for severance and further, pursuant to section 119(4), shall be held as stopped government road, subject to Gazette Notice 989186, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987, and shall vest in the Crown;
(d) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portion of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be stopped, and shall remain vested in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as local purpose (esplanade) reserve over the land described in the Schedule and further declares that the lands may be disposed of by the Marlborough District Council for market value, the proceeds from sale to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Revocation of Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the vesting in the Marlborough District Council of the land described in the Schedule and further revokes the reservation as recreation reserve with the effect that the land is now Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act 1948.
