Catlins
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From the coast at Kaka Point then north 1km to opposite the eastern end of Selsea Street then north along Clutha Terrace and Otanomomo-Kaka Point Road to Port Molyneux. Then west via Port Molyneux Road to the Owaka Highway. Then north to Awakiki Road and via Awakiki Road, Link Road, Mercer Road, Waitapeka School Road and Chester Roads to Hillfoot Road. Then west along Hillfoot Road to Clinton. Then through Clinton on State Highway 1 to the Clinton-Mataura Road and along this road to the Southland-Otago Regional boundary at Grid Reference NZMS 260-G46:159363. Then follow the Regional Boundary south to the coast at Wallace Beach and then east and north along the coast back to Kaka Point; and
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From the true right bank of the Clutha River opposite the mouth of the Minzion Burn at Grid Reference NZMS 260-G44:331953 in a direct line to Spylaw Hill Grid Reference NZMS 260-G44:320896 then directly to the junction of Gorge and Westwood Roads east of Crookston then directly south-east to Trig point U Grid Reference NZMS 260-G44:300746, then south to Trig point G Grid Reference NZMS 260-G45:228639. Then directly south-east to where the Rankle Burn enters the Pomahaka River Grid Reference NZMS 260-G45:275570 and then following the true left bank of the Pomahaka River downstream to level with the end of Burkes Ford Road. Then along Burkes Ford Road and Pannets Road until it meets the Clutha River Road, then directly to the Clutha River at Grid Reference NZMS 260-G45:389573. Then north following the true right bank of the Clutha River to opposite the Minzion Burn.
Hokonui
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From Mandeville at the corner of the Waimea Valley Road and State Highway 94 along the Waimea Valley Road to the Glenure corner. Follow the Dipton-Balfour Road west to Ben Callum Road, then a direct line south-west along farm boundaries to the origin of the Winton Stream, down this stream to Matthews Road, to the Benmore-Otapiri Road and along the Benmore-Otapiri Road to Calder Road. From the Calder Road Benmore-Otapiri Road intersection directly across to Blank Road, then down Blank Road to the Otapiri Road. Then via Otapiri Road, Shand Road, Otapiri Gorge Road, Browns-Otapiri Road, Hokonui School Road, Scott Road, Jewitt Road and Murchison Road to the intersection with State Highway 96. Follow State Highway 96 (Glencoe Highway) east to Miller Road then north via Miller Road to Glendhu Road. Then north and east via Glendhu Road, Duthie Road, Copland Road and Reaby Road to meet State Highway 94 near Croydon. Then north-west along State Highway 94 to Mandeville and the corner of Waimea Valley Road.
General Information

Any animal moved in contravention of this notice may be seized by an inspector or authorised person and destroyed, treated or otherwise dealt with if it is reasonable in the circumstances to do so. The Animal Health Board may also recover the cost of testing for bovine tuberculosis pursuant to the Biosecurity Act 1993 and the Biosecurity (Deer and other testing costs) Regulations 1998.

Failure to comply with the requirements of this notice may result in prosecution under the Biosecurity Act 1993. If convicted, an individual will be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years or a fine not exceeding $100,000.00, or both. A corporation convicted of an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding $200,000.00.
Revocation
The declaration issued on the 1st day of February 2007, in regard to movement controls for bovine tuberculosis and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1 February 2007, No. 10, page 226 and in Straight Furrow on 6 February 2007, is hereby revoked, with effect from 1 March 2008.
Summary of Changes
This declaration has the effect of revoking parts of the following Controlled Areas:
- Parts of the Central North Island Controlled Area are revoked at Hiwi in Manawatu-Wanganui Region and at North Taupo in Waikato Region.
- Parts of the Southern North Island Controlled Area are revoked at Waihoki in Manawatu-Wanganui Region and at northern-central Wairarapa in Wellington Region.
- Parts of the Marlborough-North Canterbury Controlled Area are revoked north of Wairau River and in the lower Awatere Catchment in Marlborough District, and northward towards the Ashley River in Canterbury Region.
- Parts of the Coastal and Central Otago Controlled Area are revoked from the Tairei Plains, on the northern side of Clutha River from Kaitangata to Tuapeka Mouth and up to and including Milton Flats.
- Parts of the Catlins Controlled Area are revoked from Southland Region to the Southland-Otago regional boundary and from State Highway One to the Kaihiku foothills and the Kuriwaio area.
- Parts of the Hokonui Controlled Area are revoked such that the southern and eastern boundaries align with major bush areas.
This declaration also reinstates a former part of the Central North Island Controlled Area over 725 hectares at Whakahoro in Manawatu-Wanganui Region.
