Reserves Act 1977

Amendment to a Notice—Naming of a Reserve at Orepuki—Southland District

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from
the Minister of Conservation, the Southland District Council
hereby amends an error in the notice with the same heading,
dated the 13th day of December 2007 and published in the
New Zealand Gazette, 20 December 2007, No. 142, page
3723, by replacing

Section 1 Block XIII

with

Section 1 Block XVII

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of Fresh Notice

Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason
of an error made in the notice described subsequently,
the Conservation Support Manager for the Northland
Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the
notice classifying a reserve and declaring that it form part
of Te Paki Recreation Reserve dated the 11th day of
January 2008 and published in the New Zealand Gazette,
17 January 2008, No. 6, page 193, and issues the following
notice as a new notice in its place.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve Form Part of the Te Paki Recreation Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support
Manager for the Northland Conservancy, Department of
Conservation, hereby classifies the reserve described in
the Schedule as a recreation reserve and declares that the
reserve form part of the Te Paki Recreation Reserve.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of
Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule
as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section
19(1)(a) of the Act.
