Commodity Levies (Eggs) Order 2004

Annual Levy Prescribed Under Commodity Levies (Eggs) Order 2004

Pursuant to section 4 of the Commodity Levies Act 1990 and clause 11 of the Commodity Levies (Eggs) Order 2004, and on the recommendation of the 2008 Annual General Meeting of the Egg Producers Federation of New Zealand Incorporated, I hereby prescribe an annual levy of 36 cents per chick on the basis of the sale of chicks to producers by hatcheries during the year 1 January 2009 to 31 December 2009.

This notice will take effect on 1 January 2009.

Preamble

The variations set forth in the Schedule below are variations to Standards in the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code published by the National Health and Medical Research Council in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette, No. P 27, on 27 August 1987, which have been varied from time to time.

Citation

These variations may be collectively known as the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code – Amendment No. 102 – 2008.

Commencement

These variations commence on 5 October 2008.

SCHEDULE

[1] Standard 4.2.4A is varied by omitting from paragraph 1(a) -

paragraph 2(1)(a) of Standard 1.6.2

substituting -

paragraphs 16(a) and (b) of Standard 4.2.4
