Notice of Exemption for Equipment From the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999
Pursuant to Regulation 6 of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pressure Equipment, Cranes, and Passenger Ropeways) Regulations 1999, I, Andrew Kear, in exercise of the powers delegated in me by the Secretary of Labour, hereby give notice of exemption from these Regulations in their entirety to part of a pipeline between Omata Tank Farm and Port Taranaki, subject to the following conditions.
The conditions are:

The affected part of the pipeline, currently subject to Origin Energy project 9487, is that indicated between points X and Y of Origin drawing 0F0401-DWG-90A-0003 revision 1, and includes the proposed future PIG launcher and PIG receiver. The physical end points in terms of NZTM 2000 are:
- Point X: Northing 5674253.18
Easting 1688046.39 - Point Y: Northing 5676463.90
Easting 1689510.54
- Point X: Northing 5674253.18

The affected pipeline shall have all duties in relation to it including design, construction, operation, maintenance and inspection carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment (Pipelines) Regulations 1999 (notwithstanding (c)(iii) of the definition of "Pipeline" in those regulations).

General Use Claim:
For active immunisation of pigs from 3 weeks of age or older to reduce lung lesions following infection from Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae.
Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application. Under sections 16 and 17 of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997, a written submission:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and
(b) may state any decision sought on that application; and
(c) must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
A copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.
