Classification of a Reserve and Vesting in the Central Otago District Council
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve and vests the reserve in the Central Otago District Council in trust for that purpose.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(1)(a) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a meeting place, recreation and sports ground and a church site for the common use and benefit of all New Zealanders and to be known as Maniaroa Pa.

Notice Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation
On the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori lands referred to in the Schedule as set out in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 November 1932, No. 68, page 2188, were set aside as a Māori reservation.
Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the purposes of the said Māori reservation are redefined and the lands are hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purposes of a meeting place and marae for the Waikato and Ngāti Raukawa tribes.
