Fisheries Act 1996

Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2008 (F457)

Pursuant to section 60 of the Fisheries Act 1996, the Minister of Fisheries, after consultation with representative organisations that have an interest provided in section 60, and after consideration of the matters specified in section 60(3) of the Fisheries Act 1996, gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title—This notice is the Fisheries (Quota Aggregation Limit Exemption) Notice 2008 (F457).

2. Commencement—This notice shall come into effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

3. Exemption to quota aggregation limit for scallop
   —From the date that this notice comes into effect, consent is given for Talleys Fisheries Limited, Talley’s Group Management Limited and the Talleys Group to hold quota shares for scallops having a combined quota weight less than or equal to 40.266% percent of the combined total allowable commercial catches of scallop.
