Reappointments to the Securities Commission

Pursuant to section 28(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, His Excellency, The Honourable Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby reappoints to the Securities Commission, as established under the Securities Act 1978

Keitha Lynette Dunstan, of Wellington

as a member for a term of five years commencing on 10 July 2008 and expiring on 9 July 2013; and

Mai Chen, of Wellington

as a member for a term of one year commencing on 1 September 2008 and expiring on 31 August 2009.

Completion of the Review and Initiation of Reassessment: Anti-dumping Duties on Galvanised Wire From South Africa

Notice

Title and commencementβ€”(1) This notice may be cited as the Completion of the Review and Initiation of Reassessment: Anti-dumping Duties on Galvanised Wire from South Africa.

(2) I have completed the review and determined that there is a likelihood of a recurrence of dumping causing material injury to the New Zealand industry producing like goods, should anti-dumping duties be removed and therefore the continuing imposition of anti-dumping duties on the goods described in the Schedule is necessary.

(3) I have initiated a reassessment of the rate or amount of anti-dumping duty in respect of imports into New Zealand of the goods described in the Schedule.

Galvanised steel wire of high, medium and low tensile strength between 2mm and 4.5mm in diameter, but EXCLUDING the following:

Appointments to the Takeovers Panel

Pursuant to section 28(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, and section 6(2) of the Takeovers Act 1993, His Excellency, The Honourable Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoints to the Takeovers Panel, as established under the Takeovers Act 1993

Colin Glenn Giffney, of Auckland

as the deputy chair for a term commencing on 25 September 2008 and expiring on 24 September 2011; and

Peter John Miller Scott, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

as a member cross-appointed from the Australian Takeovers Panel for a term commencing on 10 July 2008 and expiring on 7 March 2011.

School Establishment

Pursuant to section 146 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby establish a Year 11–13 secondary school, to be known as Ormiston Road Senior High School, at Ormiston Road, Flat Bush, Manukau City.

The school will open for instruction at Year 11, in term one of 2011.
