Notice of Approval of a Scheme

Under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Notice is hereby given that Frederic Wallis House Trust Board has made application to the High Court at Wellington for an order approving a scheme of variation to the deed of trust seeking approval of a scheme of variation to alter the purposes of the trust by means of the adoption of a new trust deed which seeks to meet the objectives of the trust:

(a) to improve the management structure of the trust and of its assets.

(b) to clarify the purpose of the trust following the sale of Frederic Wallis House at Lower Hutt, while seeking to follow the vision and intention of the settlor, the late Margaret Emily Jane Wallis.

(c) to change the name of the trust to "The Wallis Trust"
and proposes associated consequential changes to the deed of trust dated the 2nd day of September 1943.

The date for the hearing of the application is Tuesday, 26 February 2008 at 10.00am in the High Court at Wellington.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme is required to give written notice of intention to do so to the Registrar of the High Court at Wellington, to the applicant at the address below, and to the Attorney-General, Crown Law, PO Box 2858, Wellington, not less than seven clear days before the date of hearing.

This notice is pursuant to section 101(2) of the Public Trust Act 2001.

To all creditors and claimants of Metro Batteries 1989 Limited (a company that was struck off on 15 March 2005):
The sum of $19,022.00 has been paid to Public Trust to hold in the name of the deregistered company.
A claim has been lodged by Bruce Stanley Warwick, a former director and shareholder of Metro Batteries 1989 Limited.

Public Trust proposes paying the amount of the claim, less associated costs, to Bruce Stanley Warwick, subject to no notice of a claim being received on or prior to 7 February 2008.

Any persons having any interest in priority to the claimant must submit a claim to Public Trust, PO Box 13245, Tauranga (Attention: Ken Southam) on or prior to the above-mentioned date.

Notice Stating Where Proposed Material to be Incorporated by Reference into Regulations is Available for Inspection and Purchase—Product Certification

Pursuant to section 409(2)(d) of the Building Act 2004 ("the Act"), I hereby give notice that I propose to make a recommendation for regulations in relation to product certification under sections 402(1)(t)(iv) and 402(1)(u) of the Act that incorporate material by reference as follows:

Under section 402(1)(t)(iv) of the Act (Criteria and Standards for Accreditation)

It is proposed to incorporate by reference some or all of the following material into regulations that prescribe the criteria and standards that an applicant must meet for accreditation as a product certification body under section 264(b) of the Act:

(i) ISO/IEC Guide 65:1996 (also available as SAA/SNZ HB 18.65:1998): General requirements for bodies operating product certification schemes;

(ii) International Accreditation Forum (IAF) Guidance on the Application of ISO/IEC Guide 65:1996 (Issue
