as members of the New Zealand Geographic Board for a term of three years commencing on 1 February 2007.

The reappointment of Dr James Wharehuia Milroy and the appointment of Apirana Tuahae Mahuika are made on the recommendation of the Minister of Māori Affairs, pursuant to section 3(2)(b) of the said Act.

The reappointment of Dr Sir Tipene O’Regan is made on the nomination of Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tahu and the recommendation of the Minister for Land Information, pursuant to section 3(2)(ba) of the said Act.

The appointment of Professor Michael Matthew Roche is made on the nomination of the New Zealand Geographical Society and the recommendation of the Minister for Land Information, pursuant to section 3(2)(c) of the said Act.

The appointment of David Jeffrey Barnes is made on the nomination of the Federated Mountain Clubs of New Zealand Incorporated and the recommendation of the Minister for Land Information pursuant to section 3(2)(d) of the said Act.

The reappointment of Sylvia Jean Allan and the appointment of Kay Booth are made on the recommendation of the Minister for Land Information, pursuant to section 3(2)(e) of the said Act.
